Here’s a look at what’s new this month across Miter Ecosystem, HCM, Field Ops, and Spend.

Unified Miter
We're bringing the Miter team portal and dashboard together into one consolidated site, rolling out to all Miter users by early October.
Miter Unified
What’s new for admins:
  • "My Miter" switch for admins.
Easily navigate between your admin view (the dashboard) and your personal view (My Miter).
  • New personal features.
Give permissions-based access to reimbursements, cards, timesheets, directory, org chart, and time off calendar.
  • Platform improvements.
Mobile-compatible, Spanish translation, and no load time blockers from the dashboard.
What’s new for your team:
  • Simple and consistent UX on desktop and mobile.
Simplified UX that matches the styling of the Miter dashboard.
Team members only see My Miter unless they have permissions to access company-level information or to view information of another employee. If you have questions about this transition, email support@miter.com.

Payroll & HR
Write-ups and feedback
Make performance management a priority for your team year-round with light feedback and issue write-ups.
Miter Write-Ups
What’s new:
  • Warnings and PIPs.
Set up custom warning and improvement plan templates that align with your company processes.
  • Lightweight feedback.
Add notes, coaching, or shout-outs directly for your team.
  • Feedback log.
View a centralized log of feedback across your team to easily track history.
Access to feedback and write-ups is controlled by permissions. An admin grants feedback and write-up access to the right people in permission groups.
Other Payroll & HR updates worth noting:
  • LMS in onboarding flow.
Add courses to new hire onboarding checklists.
  • LMS notifications.
Configure notifications for when a course is due / overdue.
  • Review meeting notes.
After a review, managers can record the meeting date and discussion summary. When enabled for the review packet, those notes appear alongside the employee’s feedback and in the packet PDF.
  • New CPRs.
Ohio CPR, NYSDOT HC-231, and Alaska State CPR.

Field Ops
Safety Data Sheets
Manage your job's on-site chemicals in one system. SDS guide →
SDS
With Miter SDS, you get access to:
  • Bulk AI Upload.
Upload multiple SDS PDFs and Miter extracts product details, GHS hazard pictograms, and HMIS/NFPA ratings for review and upload in your library. Guide →
  • Mobile Library Access.
View SDSs relevant to your job sites via the mobile app. Guide →
  • Public SDS Viewer.
Scan a QR code to view any labeled SDS onsite – no Miter login required. Guide →
  • Bulk printing.
Print SDS QR labels and full SDS PDFs in bulk straight from the library.
SDS is available with the Miter Safety app. Install here.
Conditional logic in checklists
You can now set any question or section to appear only when a condition on an earlier question is met, so the checklist adapts as it's filled out. This keeps checklists focused: team members only see the questions relevant to their answers. Creating safety checklists guide →
Other Field Ops updates worth noting:
  • Default clock in on policies.
Default clock in time is now a setting on timesheet policies.
  • Live timesheet notifications.
Manage live timesheet notifications on timesheet policies.
  • Total-hours timesheet policies.
Set up a policy that hides clock times and collects total hours only.
  • "Any assignee can complete" option.
One person can complete a job's safety meeting or checklist on behalf of everyone assigned, instead of each person filing their own.
  • Choose who a kicked-back timesheet goes back to.
Now a Kick-back-to dropdown lets you send timesheets to that team member, to whoever entered the timesheet, or back to the approver who approved it before you. The timesheet leaves your inbox and lands in theirs.

Spend
Receipt scanning on the mobile app
Attach a receipt to a new reimbursement or card transaction on the mobile app and Miter fills in the amount, merchant, and date for you. Anything you typed yourself is kept exactly as you entered it. Guide →
Card transaction sync checks
Miter now checks your card program's accounting setup before syncing card transactions and tells you exactly what needs fixing. Troubleshooting card transactions →
Other Spend updates worth noting:
  • Removal of transaction limits on direct ACH payments.
Previously ACH payments were limited to 15 reimbursements or bills at a time; now you can process 100+ in a single batch.
  • Accrual accounting for ACH payments
. Approving a reimbursement or bill creates a journal entry, then paying it out (via ACH or mailed check) generates a second one.
  • Miter no longer auto-creates new vendors from invoices.
Invoices without a matched vendor will allow you to select a vendor directly (either from Miter or your ERP).

New in Ecosystem
CMiC
A new direct CMiC integration keeps jobs, cost codes, team members, timesheets, and payroll costs aligned across Miter and CMiC.
CMiC
How it works:
  • Pull from CMiC.
Jobs, activities/cost codes, cost types, departments, GL accounts, and team members.
  • Push to CMiC.
Timesheet pulls, timesheet pushes, and ledger-entry pushes.
  • Multi-Entity Support.
Map Miter entities to CMiC companies. Multi-entity connections must be enabled per company.
Faster, more direct ERP connections
Vista.
Miter now reads Vista data and pushes GL entries and job costs directly over your Vista connection instead of routing through third-party middleware. Fewer moving parts and more reliable syncs. Vista integration →
Foundation.
Foundation customers can now connect directly to their Foundation database instead of using the legacy brokered connection. Foundation integrations →
Acumatica.
Miter now connects directly with Acumatic and syncs both time activities and project transactions. Acumatica integration →
